Landmarks SGA ( provides innovative professional architectural services focused on ground-up design, adaptive reuse, and the conservation/preservation of aged and historically significant structures. Landmarks SGA is comprised of professional architects and preservation specialists who employ a comprehensive approach to projects with the goal of providing the highest level of creativity in order to maximize a project’s full potential.   

We are seeking candidates with digital drafting experience to assist architects and engineers in compiling drawings and permit packages for new private development and historic adaptive reuse projects. The successful candidate should have advanced working knowledge of AutoCAD, although additional experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Revit is also desirable. Applicants will be expected to collaborate with landscape architects, engineers, architects, and urban designers to ensure site components are properly designed from an engineering perspective while maintaining the design intent and vision.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Create, organize, and maintain AutoCAD files, documentation, standards, and library. 

  • Work with architects and engineers to complete and assemble building architectural and site/civil drawings. 

  • Visit project sites to obtain field measurements and photo documentation, document as-built designs. 

  • Assembling and organizing basemaps, assembling surveys and as-built information. 

  • Prepare 2D and BIM construction documents and associated technical information.  

  • Communicate with vendors, as necessary, to obtain information to prepare drawings, pricing, schedules, and related documentation. Prepare technical documentation and quantity calculations. 



  • Associate Degree in Architectural Drafting or equivalent. 

  • 2+ years of related work experience in architectural drafting if a degree is not held. 

  • Advanced working knowledge of AutoCAD in the field of architectural drafting.  



  • Extensive experience in creating construction document sets. 

  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time. 

  • Open minded and willingness to learning new methods, software, and technologies. 

  • Proficiency in 2D and 3D AutoCAD and MS Office. 


Value Added Skills: 

  • Construction experience. 

  • SketchUp Pro, Autodesk Revit, and/or Autodesk Civil 3D, is preferred. 

  • ArcMap/GIS, and/or Adobe Creative Suite. 

  • Licensed drone pilot or experience operating terrestrial laser scanner. 

  • Knowledge of architectural design or building construction. 

  • Ability to quickly develop professional relationships; personable. 


Physical Requirements: 

  • Sitting for extended length of time 

  • Fluency in public speaking in the English Language 

  • Fieldwork/ability to travel 

  • Valid driver’s license 

  • Listening 

  • Typing and handwriting 

  • Hand drawing 

  • Occasional lifting of boxes up to 50lbs  




Must have a valid driver license and insurable driving record.
